Gledco Multipurpose Cooperative has signed a Memorandum of Agreement with the La Union Transport Multi-Purpose Cooperative.
This partnership aims to provide support as regards the mandate of the National Government for the Public Transport Modernization Program in the country.
Gledco recognizes the importance of aiding Transport group Cooperatives commonly referred to as the Big brother/Small brother Platform under the Koop Kapatid Program of the Cooperative Development Authority. Additionally, Gledco acknowledges that to achieve societal modernization, we must improve our transportation methods to ensure safety, efficiency, economic viability, and environmental friendliness for the people of our society.

Gledco Multipurpose Cooperative has signed a partnership with CPF Philippines Corporation and KPH to operate a swine and shrimp breeder farm. This initiative aims to increase food security in response to our society's growing demand for food. The 20th General Assembly has been a resounding success, and we extend our gratitude to our members and partners in society. The true essence of cooperativism was exemplified during the general assembly. This event included the election of leaders, a review of annual reports, financial statements, and the proposed 5-year plans and programs. Members actively participated, voiced their opinions and concerns, and fostered democratic participation in cooperative governance.
Our national hero, Jose Rizal, recognized the importance of cooperatives; he initiated a water service cooperative in Dapitan, foreseeing that cooperatives would play a vital role in eradicating poverty and bridging the gap between the wealthy and the poor. In this spirit, Gledco partners with other companies to support the growth and well-being of our members and communities. In addition to this, Gledco was acknowledged as the Cooperative with the Largest Amount of Taxes Withheld and the Cooperative with the Highest Employment Generation.
