Welcome to GLEDCO – Where Unity, Professionalism, and Sustainability Come Together
Founded in 2001 by twenty visionary Government Department Heads in Laoag, GLEDCO (Government of Laoag Employees Development Cooperative) emerged from humble beginnings with a clear mission: to establish a credit market utilizing the power of cooperativism. Our goal has always been to promote unity, professionalism, and a sustainable business environment for our members.
Our journey began with a total Paid-Up Capital of 125,000 pesos, contributed by our 165 original members. With determination and commitment, we achieved official registration on January 22, 2002, under Certificate of Registration No. DAG-4458 from the Cooperative Development Authority.
Despite challenges along the way, GLEDCO embodies resilience and empowerment. We have grown significantly since our inception, remaining true to our founding principles and continuously striving to serve our members better.
Today, we take pride in our expanding network, diverse services, and unwavering dedication to the betterment of our members and the community. Join us as we continue to foster a cooperative spirit, improve financial well-being, and create a brighter future for all
